DT CARDS

Here are a couple of the  DT cards I made using the Designers Directory USB,  this is full of digital images and was on Create and craft a couple of weeks ago.

On the heart card I took the image into the MCS  graphics programme and changed the colour from black to red. I then printed of 2 images, using just the solid hearts for the top layer, and this was coloured with copic pens.  The wedding card, was a simpler card, I just added the words to the topper and printed of and added the black frame which was cut on my Craft Robo

Friends Birthday

I said I would be back with a card, and here it is. This was made for a crafting friend, we have been friends on the internet for a few years, as Theresa lives in Kent and I live in West Yorkshire, but last year we managed to meet up at Summer Crafting in Doncaster, we both did the workshop, and stayed in the same hotel, and we are hoping to meet again this year. Anyway here is the card

 The card is 8" x 8", The embossing folder is by Tattered Lace, I think it is called handmade paper, and the shoes are also Tattered Lace. The mesh corners are cut with Distressed Baptisia Collage die by Memory Box.

Well I have decided to ressurect my blog from the ashes, didn't make many cards last year, but did learn a new craft, making jewellery by crocheting with wire and beads, here are a coupleof my pieces

Wedding Day

A friend asked me to make this card for a wedding she was going to, and I only had 1 day to come up with something, so it is a variation of a card I have made before. Anyway she loved it, hope the 2 grooms did too.

Tatty Twinkles meets Tattered Lace

Well what a lovely week we've had so far, let's hope the weather stays like this for a while. After 3 days of looking after the grandchildren, I now have a few days to craft, here is a card I  made at the weekend, it's ages since I stamped and coloured, and I really enjoyed it, must get back into it.

I have used an 8" x 8" card blank, pink card  cut to 7.5" x 7.5"  and 7" x 7" white pearlescent 

card with a 4" x 4" aperture cut in the middle. The image is coloured with prismacolour pencils, blended with a paper stump and sansador. Die cuts are tattered lace chantilly flourish and clematis, and I have added rolled flowers, pearls and a ribbon bow

Granddaughter's Birthday

Well I can't believe that our oldest grandchild will be 11 tomorrow,  where do the years go. Anyway she is a big fan of 1D, and as I made her a1D card last year, thought i'd make her something different this time, so here it is, a pop up box, hope she likes it.

                                                                   

 

 Don't know if I will find any challenges to enter it in, but I will have a look later

POP UP BOX CARD

I've been to a couple of workshops and made these pop up boxes, but they were all  pre-scored and cut and I just added the contents. Anyway I thought i'd experiment, and made an oblong box, using 2 pieces of A4 card. I have  made this one for my daughters birthday, she has her own cake and cup cake business, hence the cupcakes on the box
